  12/14/2000 - GrandNet.com Server Upgrade
Seasons Greetings from GrandNet! GrandNet will be getting an upgraded server on December 22, 2000 - just in time for the Holidays. The new server will have greatly enhanced backup and management capabilities to provide GrandNet users with greater security. This will be a major upgrade, and we need your help to get it done. All GrandNet users need to make a small modification to their email program's settings. Click here for detailed instructions on how to make this simple change. 10/16/2000 - GrandNet.com Email Server Upgraded
MMI Internet upgraded GrandNet.com's email server. You will notice the change when logging into your email account through
webmail. All email accounts should be completely fine. We did not change server software, we just upgraded to the next version. The upgrade occurred between 10:00PM and 11:30PM, some email errors may have occured during this time. Recently several users have had problems sending email, this is what prompted the upgrade. The new version has fixed many problems that users have experienced with the old version. Please call GrandNet technical support with any questions or technical problems: 888-450-8500.

7/20/2000 - GrandNet.com Signup Server Finished
MMI Internet created an online signup form for GrandNet.com which will allow customers to instantly signup and setup their computers for the GrandNet Unlimited account. Credit card is required.

7/19/2000 - GrandNet.com site updated
MMI Internet recently updated GrandNet.com giving it a fresh new look. Now GrandNet customers can directly link into their customer service accounts to view invoices, change passwords, and view online hourly usage! Plus there is now a link to webmail. Customers can simply access their email through a webpage interface from any computer connected to the Internet in the world.

3/2000 - GrandNet receives 24 more lines in Grand Rapids
Through GrandNet's special business arrangement with MMI Internet, the two companies have upgraded their modem pool in Grand Rapids from 72 lines to 96 lines! This will cure the busy signals experienced recently.

1/2000 - GrandNet receives modem upgrade
GrandNet received a modem upgrade from MMI Internet. All of GrandNet's modems have been upgraded to top-of-the-line Cisco 56K digital modems. These modems are high-end digital modems that will attempt to give GrandNet customers the best connection speed possible with fewer disconnects.

1/2000 - GrandNet receives server upgrade
GrandNet received a special authentication server upgrade from MMI Internet. Due to recent instability with the authentication server, MMI Internet has upgraded the server to a new high-end system hosted in Duluth. This will fix the invalid username and password errors that have occured recently.

12/2000 - MMI Internet completes billing system upgrade
MMI Internet has finished entering all GrandNet customers into their billing system. The new system will provide GrandNet with better customer tracking, account initialization, timely billing, and overall better technical support and customer service abilities.

10/1999 - MMI Internet to take over technical support, customer service, and billing for GrandNet.
GrandNet would like to announce that they have secured a special agreement with MMI Internet of Duluth, MN that will expand GrandNet's technical support, improve our customer service and provide better accounting and billing proceedures. GrandNet would like to thank all of its customers for their continued support through the upcoming transition period.
