Server Update Instructions


Outlook Express
1. Open Outlook Express.
2. Go to the "Tools" menu.
3. Select "Accounts."
4. Click on the "mail" tab.
5. Click once on your mail account to highlight it.
6. Click on the "Properties" button on the right side.
7. Click on the "Servers" tab.
8. Locate the field called "Account Name."
9. Replace your account name (currently just your username) with your full email address. When you are done it should look like this: johndoe@grandnet.com.
10. Click "Okay."
11. Click "Close."
12. Resume using Outlook Express as normal. You're all finished!


Netscape Navigator
1. Open Netscape.
2. Go to the "Edit" menu.
3. Choose "Preferences."
4. You will see "Mail and News Preferences" on the left side. Click once on the small plus symbol next to it.
5. Choose "Mail Servers" from the list that appears.
6. At the top of the menu on the right, you will see a white box that says "Incoming Mail Servers." The box should have a line saying "grandnet.com." Click on the button to the right of it marked "Edit."
7. In the User Name field, add "%grandnet.com" to the end of your username (do not include the quotation marks). When you are done, it should look like this: johndoe%grandnet.com.
8. Click "Okay."
9. Click "Okay."
10. Resume using Netscape as normal. You're all finished!
